1.9. Emails

You can send emails from Dog Tracker from a record and have the email appear in the Past Activities section.

From the Activity section on a record, click the Email tab.

Fill In To

Fill in the To field. You can either just put an email address, or you can look up a Contact record.

Fill in the email subject and body here. If you are using a template, this will already be filled in.

OR Auto Fill in Email

Search through your organizations email templates. Once selected, the Subject and Body of the email will be auto filled. You will still be able to edit the email if necessary.

Fill In Related To

5. Fill In Related To
Fill in the Related To field if related to a record other than Contacts. First pick the object from the drop down, then use the lookup field to find the record.

Click Send

Click Send button to send the email.
