3.1.4. Medical Event

After clicking a New Health & Wellness button, select Medical Event from the record type drop down and click continue.

Below are the unique fields included on the Medical Event records.

Symptoms/Description

1. Symptoms/Description

Enter the symptoms or describe the problem with the dog.

Vet Used

Add the Veterinarian who treated the dog. This is a lookup field to Accounts.

Diagnosis

3. Diagnosis

Enter the diagnosis.

Contagious

Select if the dog is contagious.

Date Started Quarantine

Enter the date you started quarantine for the dog.

Date Ended Quarantine

Enter the date you ended quarantine for the dog.

Were other dogs exposed?

Select if other dogs were exposed to the contagious dog.

Were other dogs treated if exposed?

Select if other dogs were treated if they were exposed to this dog.

Follow up vet visit?

Check the box if this dog needs a follow up vet visit.

Follow Up Date/Time

10. Follow Up Date/Time

Enter a date and time to follow up. A notification will be created for the Lead Trainer/Caretaker to follow up. You will be able to see the notification from the activities section on the dog's record.
