6.1.4. Whelping

The Whelping stage is the forth section that appears on the Reproduction Management record. You must check the Pregnancy Confirmed box to see this section when creating or editing a record.
 
Below are the fields that appear in this section.

Labor Start

1. Labor Start
Enter the date/time labor started. You must put a date in this field in order to show the Birth section.

Whelping Type

2. Whelping Type
Select the whelping type used.

Whelping Complete

3. Whelping Complete
Enter the date/time whelping was complete.

Live Birth

Enter the number of live births.

Still Birth

5. Still Birth
Enter the number of still births.

6. Whelping Notes
Enter any notes about the whelping.

Whelping Medications

7. Whelping Medications
If any medications were used during whelping, click this Add record button to create a Health & Wellness, Whelping Medication Administered record.
