The Record Type field is located in the System Information section of all Dog Tracker tabs. You can only change the Record Type by clicking the change icon next to the record type field. You will not be able to edit the field in Edit mode. Even though switching between record types may hide fields, the data is not lost. If you change back to a previous record type, you will see the data again.
