Required Fields

1. Required Fields
Required fields have red stars in front of field name. These must be filled in before you are able to save the record.
Date fields can be entered by typing the date in the field or using the pop-up calendar.

Lookup Field

Lookup fields have looking glass icons at the end of the field. You start typing the name of the record and it will create a dropdown list of options to choose from.

Textarea

Textareas allow you to enter text on multiple lines.

Multi-Select Picklist

5. Multi-Select Picklist
Multi-select picklists have a list of preset options to choose. You can select one or multiple options from the list on the left and use the arrows to move them to the list on the right.

Enter up to 255 characters on one line.

Picklists

7. Picklists
Picklists will have a list of preset options to pick from. You can only pick one.
