The Mating stage is the second section that appears on the Reproduction Management record. You must check the Breed this Heat field to see this section when creating or editing a record.
 
Below are the fields that appear in this section.

Cervical Cytology Test

Enter the date the Cervical Cytology test was performed.

Enter the results of the Cervical Cytology test.

Progesterone Level Test

Enter the date the Progesterone Level test was performed.

Sire

5. Sire
Set the Sire. Sire is a lookup field to male Dogs. Even though this field does not have a red bar, it is required if you put a date in the Mating Date fields and you will see an error if you try to save the record.

Mating Date

Enter the dates of mating attempts. You must enter a date in one of these fields in order to show the Gestation section.

Select the type of mating attempt.

Enter any notes about this mating.
