5. Dog Locations

The Dog Locations tab is a dependant tab of Dogs. You cannot create a Dog Locations record without relating it to a dog record. You should create a new record for each Dog Location but you should also update the End Date field on the existing records.
 
You can create Dog Locations records from it's tab or the dog's record using related lists. Filling it out from the Dog's record will auto-fill the Dog field.
 
 
After adding a new location record, it will be added to the Dog's record in the Location section (Except for Placed/Teamed record types). If there is already information from a location on the Dog's record, it will only be replaced if the new location record has a more recent Date Placed at Location date. When you put an End Date on a location record, it will remove it from the Dog's record.
 
For Placed/Teamed record types, the Dog's record must be set to a Placed record type to see the Placed/Teamed section. This will happen automatically when entering a Placed/Teamed record type. Please note: the field Client Tracker is only included if you have the Client Tracker app.
